ABOUT ME
As a former student athlete, I can relate to the demands of balancing the physical/mental/time pressures of varsity athletics as well as the academic responsibilities. Not only is that juggling act a LOT to manage, but the transition out of high performance sports and school can often be challenging to navigate. Beyond athletics and academics, life presents a variety of struggles that may trigger anxiety, depression, or challenge your current coping mechanisms. Whether it’s to do with work, relationships, family, or the on-going work of self-discovery and development, I'm so grateful you’re here.
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. My decision to pursue these different paths of education comes from a deep interest about the connection between the mind and body and how that dynamic works to support or challenge our health and wellness.
From a person-centered foundation, I focus on building a relationship in which you feel heard, seen, and respected. Everyone is unique, so I believe in collaborating with clients to find which approach works best for them. I enjoy adapting to and integrating different therapy styles, such as Attachment Theory, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Somatic Practices.
I want you to feel empowered in your mind and body so that you can live your fullest life.
